Toilet Gator Chapter Notes – Chapter 41

I love this chapter.

There’s so much noise when something bad happens.  Everyone needs to shout.  Everyone gets in the way. Pay attention to me!

It makes it hard for authorities to weed through the nonsense in order to find the few kernels of good information that can help bust a case wide open.

Maude’s been fielding crazies all day and to her, Professor Lambert seems like another one.  Unfortunate, because he’s laid it all out there, but to a woman who just heard a cat get accused of being a murderer, her ability to suspend disbelief is gone.

Technically, Maude’s not wrong for not taking Lambert seriously and Lambert’s not wrong for threatening to go to the press.  It’s just one of those unfortunate misunderstandings.

It’s an alligator, not a crocodile! Don’t be ridiculous!
